The squat is an essential movement not only for athleticism, but for well being. The squat is not some exercise a trainer invented in the gym – it is in your DNA, as much a part of human movement as walking. Watch any small child playing on ground, and every time they have a perfect squat. Tragically, as we age and spend countless hours in nice comfy chairs, we lose the flexibility and range of motion to be able perform this vital movement. But with good coaching and persistence, anyone can rehabilitate themselves and work towards a perfect squat.
