Making Gains
Open House!
We didn’t forget all those who helped in the process of getting the place ready to go so quickly. In just 9 days we tore down 2 walls, built another wall, filled in concrete and countless other little things. We couldn’t have done it without the support of our CrossFitters and we think they couldn’t have done it without CrossFit!
CrossFit Vacationers
Or is it vacation CrossFitters? Either way, due to the fact that we live in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, we have been getting a nice influx of CrossFitters from around the country. The nice thing about CrossFit is that even if you’ve never met someone, once you start talking about CrossFit its as if you’ve known them for years.
Strong CrossFitters!
We decided to have a strength day at CrossFit CDA, and here are a few of the highlights…

Congratulations Alex!

Congratulations to Alex, who finished a sprint triathlon recently. Here’s what she has to say about CrossFit helping her:
“I have done sprint distance triathlons throughout my
life and recently just finished one this month. With
absolutely no training in the swim, bike, or run since
last year for a different triathlon I was amazed at
the strength and endurance CrossFit gave me, and the
energy I had from eating “zone.” Last year I trained
only in the swim, bike, run…this year I only did
CrossFit and I not only felt great afterwards, but my
time improved. I can’t wait to combine the training in
CrossFit with the tri events for my next race.”
Way to go! You can read her blog here.
Park Gods
CrossFit CDA represented as usual at the park on Saturday. We did Chelsea, and I think everyone has a new respect for her.
The new faces are Rigo, Mark, and Catherine. Rigo has a CrossFit monster hiding inside him, and Mark and Catherine have been waiting patiently for a CrossFit Affiliate to open up, so we are glad to welcome them to the family.
Hard Work and CONSISTENCY!
Kristin has been with us since we opened a few months ago and has shown great improvements,
particularly in the last few weeks.
She recently got her kip down, enabling her to crank out some serious pull-ups! She also recently did the CrossFit Total, a combined effort of an overhead press, deadlift, and back squat. She shattered her last personal record of 255, getting a total of 340! Kristin is an example of what hard work and consistency brings, and is an inspiration to us all!
