Jonathan has joined the ranks of CrossFit CDA as our newest trainer. He has an extensive background in competitive sports including time on the US Rowing Team. Not only does he look great in spandex, he is very knowledgeable; be sure to pick his brain!
Heads up, we will be closed November 27th and 28th. We will have our normal Saturday WOD at 10 am to work off some of that stuffing and gravy!
I am giving everyone a freebie on Thanksgiving day. Consider it a “cheat meal,” and eat what you please. Keep in mind, try to go easy on or stay away from the starches…stuffing, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, etc. Eat as much turkey as you want! And be thankful!
We will have our noon class on Friday, October 31st. The evening classes are canceled. Christmas wanted to take Fran trick or treating, so class was a no go. If you come to the noon class, wear your costume. 15 burpees if you show up in plain clothes. See you there!
I had to post this pic from www.crossfit.com. We were in Fred Meyer the other day and I jusr had to clean and jerk the 96 # pumpkin they have on display. I guess crossfitters think alike!
This Saturday the gym will be closed and we will be heading to CrossFit Spokane for a team workout. Things will kick of at 11 am and should go to about 12. There won’t be a cookout afterwards so don’t worry about food, just be ready to work! Let us know if you plan to go so we can organize some carpools.
Box jumps at the last CrossFit CDA-Spokane get together.
Flip Factory is celebrating National Gymnastics Day Saturday, September 13th. They plan on having a pretty big setup going all day, so try to come in and check it out. We will have our normal 10 am WOD, then our doors will be open most of the day afterward. If you can’t make it to the 10 am class, please drop in at any time for a quick workout! Just be sure to call ahead of time and verify we are there! See ya!
Join us on Saturday September 6th for a Picnic! We want to show our appreciation to our fellow CrossFitters and what better way of doing that than with food and friends?!
We will be meeting at PhippenyPark located on the corner of 7th Street and Montana Avenue in Coeur d’Alene.
Come early at 10:00 to get in a workout or come at 11:00 for food and friends only. Feel free to being family and friends.
Everyone has their own special dish they like so please bring something to share. This also ensures there is something you like there! Just remember we’re slight health nuts!
